The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013

“The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013” hits the UK on 13th June 2014.  It affects businesses, wherever there is a Contract between a “trader” and a “consumer”.

Like almost all regulations originating in Brussels, this document is not easy to read, and is even more difficult to understand.  But compliance for most businesses is not optional, so someone in every commercial organisation has to get to grips with it.  If you have not got the time to spare (perhaps you are still waiting for the time to read the last Regulation: or the one before that), our Robert Last can save you the effort, either sending you a précis written in English as it is normally spoken, or re-designing your existing Terms & Conditions to comply.
