The law governing the relationship between employers and employees probably has seen a greater number of changes in recent years than any other area of English law. Much of it is not easy to read; and there is no sign of any end to the increasing involvement of the State in the employment relationship.
We are able to advise employers as to their overall approach to the employment relationship, perhaps advice on issues that have arisen – disciplinary or grievance issues, or redundancies or employment tribunals.
Many employment disputes end either in a Settlement Agreement or an Employment Tribunal Application. We have the experience required to deal with both. By law, Settlement Agreements require the employee to seek legal advice, and this we undertake on a very frequent basis.
